Altered Spool

I made this for an altered spool swap I was in. My partner likes and collects snowmen. So I went with that.

First, I painted the spool blue. Then I dipped it into hot glue to achieve the look I was going for. Next, I covered the hot glue and the rest of the spool using Plaid folkArt texture paint. The sledding snowman was cut from a Cricut cartridge several times and glued together to make him thick. I stamped his face with the snowmen faces Peachy Keen stamp. The mittens were cut using the Silhouette Cameo and then painted blue. I used glitter glue on his hat and added a tiny pom pom and some cotton around the front. I added a sign I stamped and outlined with silver glitter glue. Made him a scarf and he is finished

I think he came out pretty cute!
