Imagine - Mixed Media Tag

I made this mixed media tag for Lori, my swap partner in a Facebook group. I added lots of texture by using texture paste through a stencil and then painting it. There is also torn book pages underneath adding more texture and layers. I heat embossed the hot air balloon on for my main focal point. Next, I added some washi tape. Heat embossed around the outside edges of the tag. I stapled the stamped word on using my Tim Holtz stapler. To finish it off I added fibers.

Finish my tag challenge

I was recently in a "finish my tag" challenge. She sent us all a tag she started and we were to do whatever we wanted with it.

Here is the tag she sent each of us. 

The girl is not glued down so we may do whatever we want with her.

And here is my finished tag. 

I think it came out really pretty!

And we get to keep the finished tag!

My Purple Grunge Tag

This is a purple grunge tag for a grunge tag swap I was in. Purple is my favorite and I love grunge so this is what was created!

Happy Valentines Day

Here is a Valentine's Tag I made using a stamp from Red Lead. I love that little stamp! I added some lace and Faux pearls and a little flower.

Joy Tag

I made this tag for a tag swap last year. Ha, how funny does that sound. Anyways, I used a stamp for joy, added some distress ink. The angel is a digital image from Pattie's Creations . I colored her in and added some glitter glue and stickles. Around her I added some Christmas trim. At the top is a little plastic angel ornament.

Snowman Tag

For my snowman I used Mainstays Crafts Glitter that I got at a yard sale for a quarter! It really made him look good. At the bottom I made snow using Plaid Folk Art Texture Paint in Snow white. Glittered the snowflakes with some Martha Stewart glitter, added bling to the center. The snowman and the flakes were all cut using the Cricut.

Bird Cage tags

I made these for a swap I was in on the Cricut Message board. We were to think outside the box and have fun with it. So, I put the cat in the cage with the bird who got away outside! The cage and the bird were cut from the Four Legged Friends cartridge. I used lavender Foil paper for my cage. I flocked  the cat to give it a soft feel, added google eyes. For the bird I used some glitter glue.  I used Helmar's zap dots to adhere my bird cage, cat and bird on. Added some bling on the top from Creative Charms and some bling on the bottom of the cage too. Put lace on the bottom with some faux pearls weaved through it. Feathers and flowers on the side.

Dress Form Tags

These were made for a swap at CMB, we had to create a dress form and put it on a tag. Here are mine... The first one was designers choice, followed by famous/tv person (I chose Lady Gaga) and the last one is Belle of the Ball.  The background paper for Belle of the Ball is actually a shiny paper, like a mirror but I couldn't get a good picture, it kept getting a reflection. It looks really pretty in person.
