Halloween Button Fairy

Happy Halloween!

Today, I'm sharing another button fairy I created. This time Halloween themed! The image is Land of Nods creepy girl. I added the witch hat and bat wings from kits from Mischief Circus. From my stash, I used a black flower, black and orange buttons and beads. I added some black and orange stickles as well.

Button Fairy Magnet

Today, I'm sharing another one of my button fairies I've created recently. I used a butterfly diecut for my wings. The lady is from a kit at Mischief Circus. Under the first big button is a purple flower with stickles added for sparkle. Buttons came from my button collection. 

On the back I glued on a magnet so this fairy can be hung on the fridge.

 I printed her face from the internet.

I hand drew a border and hand wrote my words, added white dots and lines.

Mixed Media Fairy ATC

~ Pick a theme swap ~

Theme: Fairy

For this artist trading card I started with a background that was cut from a stamped masterboard I made awhile ago.  I added circles sequins then layered mesh over top. Added star sequins on top. I created my fairy using pieces from various kits from Mischief Circus. Added stickles to give sparkle. Heat embossed the edges.

This Alice ATC was created for a pick a theme swap on AFA. 

I started with a gelli print background. 

Layered book page and cheese cloth.  

Added a mushroom from Mischief Circus. 

Alice is a digi stamp from The Octopode Factory. 

I colored her in with spectrum noir markers. 

Added a printed quote from Alice in Wonderland. 

Inked edges to finish.

 These mixed media atc's were created for a swap at AFA. 

The host supplied us with the old card catalogs. 

We were to use the words from the cards to inspire our art.
