xoxOGirls Scraplift
This is my layout for a fun new blog I found called True XOXO Girls.
The challenge is to scraplift one (or more) of the XOXO Girls.
What does scraplift mean?
Basically it means copying others' completed layouts in whole or in part for your own personal use by adopting design elements and ideas that you like and incorporating them into your own creations.
I chose to scraplift Valerie Gould's 'just me' layout.

Cat Tile
This tile was made for a guy my mom works with. He wanted it made for his mother. He told us that he wanted it to say "love you mom" and have 3 cats on it because she loves cats.
I cut it all out with the Sure Cuts A Lot program.
Here is what I came up with. I used the font 'Albemarle Swash' for the love you mom and the font 'Karen's Kitties' for the cats.
He and his mother both loved it. Pin It

ScrapFIT Workout #12
Here is my layout: My son with a dirty face... Black and white photo with his blue eyes.
#12 Weight Lifting
For this workout you need to pick your favorite LO from ScrapFIT's first 6 months and LIFT it! I chose to lift Aymee's layout from workout #6 from back on October 15th.

Photo Coasters
I actually tried making coasters for Christmas 2008 and couldn't get it to work, maybe I just didn't try hard enough or have the patience then? I tried again a year later and here they are.
I made these for my mother for Christmas. These are her 4 grandchildren.
I used the tissue paper method. I think they turned out okay. Pin It

Toy Buckets
My husband brought me home all these drywall screw buckets from work, he figured I would do something with them.
I turned them into kids buckets to hold their hot wheels. The idea came from my son, 3 at the time. He got a hold of one and loaded it full of his cars and carried it around the house, took it with him to Great Grandmas at Thanksgiving!
I took off the labels, washed them out. Added their names and cars (cut with my Cricut) to the front. Mod Podged it, to keep it kid tough. Added a knob at the top to help them get the lid off a little easier.
These are very nice buckets, the lid is the only thing not made very good, in my opinion. These are very handy for kids to carry around and take with them.
Inside I added candy and hot wheels for the younger kids. The older boys, I only put their name on the outside and added candy and G.I. Joe guys to the inside. Pin It

Name Tiles
These are actually the very first tiles I ever made. All the other tile postings before these were actually made after these. If you can't tell, I preferred the white wall pops over the blue. Atleast on that darker color tile anyways. These too, were all Christmas gifts!
