Dream - Mixed Media ATC

I made this ATC for Lori, my swap partner in a Facebook group swap. I started off with one of my gelli prints for the background. The tape measure is a paper embellishment. I then added random machine stitching. For my butterflies I stamped them onto gelli printed paper and cut them out. I added embossing powders and texture paste.  Finally, the word dream was stamped on to finish it.

Mixed Media ATC

This started off as a gelli print for my background. I added machine stitching randomly. The flower and the lady are from a kit at Deviant Scraps called "Something Else" by itKuPiLLi Imagenarium. Stanley -Blind contour ATC

This is another one of my drawings that started out as blind contour.(Draw without looking at the paper)

 I colored him with colored pencils. I made my background using stencils and ink. I thought he looked like his name should be Stanley.

Gelli Print Brothers ATC

My background is a gelli print I made and cut to ATC size. I then added some stamping and doodles. The two brothers I printed out and fussy cut. They are from a kit at Deviant Scraps called Down The Rabbit Hole by Hidden Vintage Studios.

Glittering Dreams ATC

I made a collage background of different pieces of gelli prints I've made. I added pink heat embossing to the edges.  The girl I designed in photo shop using pieces from a kit from Tumble Fish Studio over at Deviant Scraps. The flower and words are from kits at Deviant Scraps too. The butterflies were some embellies I had in my stash.

Eye On You ATC

I made my background using crumpled tissue paper. I then gessoed it and painted it blue. Next, I used an eye from a kit at Deviant Scraps. I embedded it with lots of different embossing powders. The words I just printed off from my computer.

Space Princess ATC

On this artist trading card I used one of my gelli prints for the background with some green heat embossing around the edges. All the images are from kits at Deviant Scraps. This card was made for someone on the make me happy thread at ATC's for all who wanted a space princess.

Blind Contour - Henry

I was practicing blind contour drawing and Henry emerged. 

Blind contour is where you draw the contour of a subject without looking at the paper. I think you're suppose to draw very slowly with a continuous line without lifting the pencil or looking back at the paper. 

But, I cheated and lifted my pencil and looked at the paper, then started again.

I then decided to color my guy in with colored pencil and markers and give him a background with pen doodles. Finally, I looked him over and decided his name was Henry..

I Order Thee to Fly

This ATC was made for a person on ATCsforall.com in the make me happy thread. 

I used a gelli print for my background and added images from Deviant Scraps that I printed and fussy cut.

I used a charcoal pencil and a white pen to outline the images.

For this artist trading card I used everything (including the background) from kits at Deviant Scraps. 

I printed the background and each element out on my inkjet printer and then fussy cut around them.

 I added gold heat embossing around the edges. Sealed it all with Mod Podge.

Vintage Postage Head ATC

This is a (vintage feel) ATC I made using a used postage stamp head. The background is torn scrapbook paper and torn book page. The photo is from the game I found at the antique store. I tore the edges and used vintage photo ink to age it a bit more. I added ribbon, flower and the felt bird. Lastly, I added distress glitter glued around the outside edges of the entire ATC. Pin It

Love Song Lyrics Atc

This ATC was made for a swap on swap-bot. The theme was love song lyrics. I picked a song by Elvis, as that was one of my partners favorite singers. The background started out as a purple gelli print. I added lots of purple and black heat embossing and added in some purple fibers. Black mesh is behind the torn photo. The old photo is from a game I found at the antique store (MGM Movies Photo Trivia) I printed the song lyrics out on the computer. I really like how this turned out and my partner was thrilled to receive it.

Postage Head Atc 2

Here is another ATC made using a used postage stamp. The background is book page and scrapbook paper with some pretty lace. The couple is from an old photo from the Photo Trivia MGM Movies Game that I found at the antique store a long while back. Words I printed from computer. Pin It

Postage Head Atc

For my background, I used metal tape that I embossed with an embossing folder. I then painted and sprinkled on black embossing powder and heated it. I used an old photo for my guys body and then of course added the used postage stamp for his head. Added some random hardware from my stash and added some embossing powder to it. Words I printed from computer.

Mail Art Envelope

This is a mail art envelope that went to France. I used paint for the background. Added music sheet paper, magazine image, stamps, quotes. Traced my hand and painted it, painted a sun and added washi tape. Pin It
