Again, my background is one of my gelli prints I made using my Gelli Arts gel printing plate. 

I added 2 different colored string randomly and then a collage of images on top from Deviant Scrap kits. 

Outlined the card with  a charcoal pencil.

Magnificent, I am! ATC

This mixed media ATC started off with a gelli print for my background base. I added some machine stitching along with texture paste through a stencil. Heat embossing was added to the top. A couple different washi tapes were added to the bottom of the card. Images from the kit 'Something Else' by itKuPiLLi Imagenarium over at Deviant Scraps finish this card.

Canvas 2

This is the 2nd canvas I made for Kelley. 

It has several layers and techniques.

The base started as plain chipboard that then had gesso applied followed by Gelatos. I used texture paste through stencils and added stamping. I played around with paints for a bit till I was happy with how it looked. I added torn book page with words that went together. The lady is an image from a kit at Deviant Scraps. I sprayed a sealer on it before adding the dimensional elements.

 I used some old hardware I had collected to use on some art. Finally, I had the perfect project. I used 2 pieces at the top and the key at the bottom. The old lace I stained with ink to make it match more. I added a couple brads to the sides. I added gesso to the numbers and painted them a bit. To finish it off I put some eyelets in for my chain to hang.

Mixed Media Canvas

This canvas was made for my swap partner and sweet friend Kelley in a Facebook group. 

I had so much fun creating, I ended up making her two! 

This is the first one.

I started off with a piece of plain chipboard. 

I used different mixed media techniques to create this piece...

Lots of gesso and texture paste with stencils were used. Along with some sprays and inks. Paints. Perfect pearls. Embossing powders. Cheesecloth and book page. Scrapbook paper cut in half circles with mini staples. Metal and chipboard embellishments.

One of the requirements was for it to hang. 

I created my hanger using black wire and curled another piece around it.

It turned out to be a really fun project.

Artist Trading Card

Here is another ATC I made using a gelli print for my background. Images from a kit at Deviant Scraps and words from that big ol' book of quotes that I found at a garage sale. I also added some inking and glitter glue.

Gertie - Blind Contour ATC

This hand drawn ATC started off as practice for blind contour drawing. 

I ended up adding to it to bring it more to life. 

She reminds me of a "Grandma Gertie".

Unstoppable ATC

I done an image transfer for this ATC. It's one of the first times I've tried transfers and am not very good at it. I believe it's a technique that will take much practice. I added a word from a magazine and embossing powders.

Bird Lady ATC

I used one of my gelli prints for my background on this ATC. The beautiful bird lady is from a kit at Deviant Scraps that I printed, cut out and adhered down. The words are from a quotation book I found at a yard sale. Inked all the edges to finish it.

Exist ATC

Hello! For this artist trading card I used crumpled tissue paper on my background. I built up the area for the eye with tissue paper to give it dimension. (You can't really see it in this picture) I painted and sealed the tissue paper. Next, I covered the entire card in layers of embossing powder. The eye is a Tim Holtz stamp. To finish it, I wrote the word Exist on top of the heat embossed card with my white pen. It really came out pretty cool!

Clowns ATC

My background is a gelli print that I made. I added some machine stitching and a couple of fun clowns from a kit at Deviant Scraps and finished with some washi tape at the bottom.

Both these ATC's I made with my Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate. I used the Tim Holtz Alterations on the edge - Townscape die to make a stencil/mask. I outlined the houses with a pen and added clouds and words.

Imagine - Mixed Media Tag

I made this mixed media tag for Lori, my swap partner in a Facebook group. I added lots of texture by using texture paste through a stencil and then painting it. There is also torn book pages underneath adding more texture and layers. I heat embossed the hot air balloon on for my main focal point. Next, I added some washi tape. Heat embossed around the outside edges of the tag. I stapled the stamped word on using my Tim Holtz stapler. To finish it off I added fibers.
