Glass blocks

Here are some more of the glass blocks that my mom and I made for her friends. Home sweet home file I bought from My Vinyl Designer. The bear file came from Denise's Scrapbooking Room. The boy fishing file came from btails on the Craftedge forum. I added the words 'Enjoy the little things' myself. I forget who the dragonfly file came from. Here are some more tiles. My mom and I made these for some of her friends. We made several Home Sweet Home ones, and I even used the negative. So no waste from them at all! The Home Sweet Home designs is an svg file that came from Vinyl Ready Designs. Pin It

Glass Blocks

Here are some of the glass blocks my mom and I made. They were for some of her friends for Christmas gifts. She and her husband done the bows. These were a first for us both. Guess we should have frosted the plain ones to hide the lights.

I believe the hummingbird file and the wolf came from Denise's Scrapbooking Room. She shares a lot of great files!

Oh.. and after doing these and some tiles, she now wants a Cricut too! Pin It

Tiles

Here are some of the tiles I made for gifts. Many more to come. This is mostly what I made for Christmas gifts this year.

These are just individual tiles that you can buy from places like Lowes. They were under a buck each. I cut the designs out (Svg. files) on my Cricut Expression using the program Sure Cuts A Lot. I used wall pops or vinyl, then transferred them onto the tile.

The manger file came from over on the cricut message board. Someone shared the file. I added the O Holy Night myself. The Home Sweet Home file and the Dream one, I purchased from My Vinyl Designer. They were under 2 bucks each.

Live Laugh Love Sign

Took a new recycling sign that I found at goodwill and turned it into this Live Love Laugh sign for my dads wife for Christmas. It turned out really nice! Pin It

Fisherman Vinyl Sign

Challenge 16 at Just Buggin is Santa's Helper.

I made this for my dad for Christmas. I painted it a grayish color. I used black wall pops for the fisherman scene cut and the 'Get Hooked'. Used real fish hooks. Looks really great in person!

Christmas Card

ScrapFit is having a blog hop! The blog hop challenge is to make a Christmas card using the quote 'Wishing you a Christmas full of sparkle and a New Year full of cheer'

I used this for the sentiment on the inside of my card.

Practical Scrappers challenge this week is Christmas Cards!

I used glitter glue to add some sparkle. My bell may be a little large but thats all I had. I used the snowflakes embossing folder, cut the Merry Christmas with my cricut. Pin It

Halloween S'mores

This was on the Project Tuesday blog a couple weeks ago. I finally got around to making a couple. I could only find the pumpkin peeps. I really wanted to do some ghost ones. I went with a bat theme for one and spider for the other. I just put different sizes of bats/spiders all around the jar, bent their legs/wings up to make 'em look real. I inked them with some white. I used some drippy goo at the top with some paint and glitter glue. All the cuts were done in Sure Cuts A Lot. Very fun & simple! I plan to make a few more here soon.. Pin It

I had trouble with the pink, since it's a boys page... This also is for the Christmas color combo #5 at SPCC. I think my colors are pretty close to what they wanted.

Boy Layout

This is my layout for the Friday Scrapsketch challenge. I always get stuck on what to put for titles and journalling, but that's one of the many things good about doing digital layouts. Little Prince layout

This is my take on sketch #149 from over at scrapsketch.

I used my own handwriting font that I made free over at fontcapture. Since I am doing digital layouts now, I thought it would be cool to have my husbands and my handwriting font to put on them. This is sketch #151 at scrapsketch. Digital layout. Everything used was from free kits, other than the dinosaur. It is from scrap n fonts, I just recently purchased this set of doodlebats. They are having a $1 sale there and at lettering delights!

2010 Calendar

I made a calendar for next year already. I plan to make more, so this was kinda my practice one. Pay no attention to the crookedness. I had to cut everything by hand. I went to use my cricut and it will not turn on at all! It worked fine last time I used it, which was weeks ago. I am hoping it just needs a new power cord ($25-30 bucks), otherwise I may be cricutless for now on.

Purple is my fav! I used cereal boxes for my chipboard, and covered it with purple cardstock, matted with purple digital paper and the calendar. The 2010 Calendar stamps came from HERE. I used a steak knife to ruff up the edges and then inked them. Added some ribbon. I plan to add some ribbon or something to the front yet... I do not have a bind it all, so I used the binding machine I have.

Out of this world Layout

This is where I have been all month...Getting addicted to digital scrapbooking. It is so easy, fast, fun and oh so addicting. There are tons of free kits to use!

I have been only doing cards and craft projects for awhile now. I have made maybe 3 layouts since my son was born, which has been almost 4 years now. I think I have found a new way to get those layouts done and maybe even try some hybrid scrapbooking.

I am not sure if I will put all the layouts I do, here on my blog.
