I love purple, so of course this was my favorite one! I used the Martha Stewart lace border punch.

Journal Jar set #1

Here is the first of several journal jars and notebooks I made this month. I gave them away for Mothers Day. I love genealogy and that is where my idea came from. I covered the notebooks with chosen paper and added ribbon and lace, then matched the jars to the notebooks. The purpose is once the questions are answered, at some point they are to give it to a child or grandchild to cherish as a keepsake from them. I used mostly genealogy questions and threw in some fun ones too.

Altered Notebook

This is one of my very first altered notebooks I have ever made. I took one of those plain notebooks, I think I paid 10 or 25 cents for it around 'back to school time' and adhered my own paper on it. I also added ribbon. Paper is from the All Dressed Up stack. Really easy to do.

Sucker Bouquets

Here are a couple of sucker bouquets I made in March and April. I used SCAL for the titles. I made the bow with the Bowdabra. They were kinda plain, next time I hope I can dress them up a bit better.
Thanks for stopping by!
