Paper Roses

I made a few bouquets of paper roses to give away on Mother's Day. They were cut using the Sure Cuts a lot program. I used Susanbluerobots directions and scut file. Thank you Susan!

They were really pretty simple, the hardest ones for me are the smallest 2 petals. Every time I make one it comes out different, but hey that's how flowers are. Right? I used vases for some and pails for some. I used skewers with green floral tape for the stems. I done both plain roses and some with a little pizazz. I think I like the ones with glitter glue and inked edges the best. The photos really don't do them justice. They turned out really pretty. (most of 'em anyways) For the centers if there was a really big gap, I put in small pearls. My favorite is the orange! Pin It

Mother's Day Cards

Here are a couple Mother's Day Cards I made. They were cut using Sure Cuts A Lot (scut file). They are Susan Bluerobot files. She shares a lot of her wonderful files. Thank you Susan! I cut the flowers and leaves with my expression and embossed them using cuttlebug folders. Added some glitter glue and stickles. Pin It
